New for `09 – The Ocala Winter Celebration!

HITS is proud to announce the addition of a sixth AA-rated week at the 2009 Ocala Winter Circuit. The all new Ocala Winter Celebration takes place March 10–15 and features a full week of exciting hunter jumper competition, concluding with the $100,000 DeLuca Toyota Tundra Grand Prix, presented by Great American Insurance Group on Sunday, March 15. There are some exciting new schedule additions, including:

Pre-Circuit (1/14-25): $20,500 M&S Children’s/Adult Jumper Championship.

Ocala Winter Festival (2/10-15): The Central Equine Relay returns on Friday night, February 13. Sunday features the $25,000 Jr/A-O Jumper High and $15,000 Jr/A-O Jumper Low Classics.

Ocala Masters (2/17-22 – President’s Week): An all new Hunter schedule, plus on Saturday night the $15,000 M&S Children’s Adult Jumper Classic in the Grand Prix ring. Then on Sunday the $10,000 A-O Hunter Classic in the Main Hunter ring, the $10,000 Junior Hunter Classic in the Grand Prix ring and the $75,000 Strongid® C 2X™ Grand Prix close out the week.

Ocala Tournament (2/24-3/1): $5,000 Children’s Hunter Classic on Saturday night.

Ocala Winter Finals (3/3-8): $10,000 USHJA Hunter Derby Saturday night and the all new $5,000 Pony Commotion on Sunday morning in the Grand Prix ring.

Ocala Winter Celebration (3/10-15): $5,000 Adult Hunter Classic on Saturday night. On Sunday the $25,000 Team Barber Jr/A-O Jumper High and $15,000 Jr/A-O Jumper Low Classics, plus the $25,000 M&S Children’s/ Adult Jumper Classic, Parade of Champions and the $100,000 DeLuca Toyota Tundra Grand Prix, presented by Great American Insurance Group will close out the season.

So if it’s competition at every level that you are after this season, head to HITS Ocala. The action kicks off with two un-rated weeks starting January 14-25, followed by six consecutive AA-rated weeks starting February 3 and continuing until March 15.
